In case you were wondering.

Stephanie sent me a link to the New York Times article announcing the opening of Murray’s Cheese in several Kroger supermarkets. I’m not sure how I feel about Murray’s becoming a national chain. Although I guess that midwesterners should be allowed the pleasure of a good runny Camembert too.

More bothersome is the realization that if I had been frequenting Murray’s in 1991 I could have purchased it for $50,000. Sure I was 10 but even then I had a fine appreciation for all things stinky. Another opportunity missed.

I’m thinking I need to bring it a little harder next time I get my nails done in our neighborhood. Karen suggested this -

And I think it’s the most awesomest idea ever.

Frank’s baby, Jax, is just as into disemboweling as Jasper. And, as Frank said, it does remind me of the inside-out bears.
