Don’t get me wrong. I think the books suck (well, the one I read.) The movie was even worse. But I’ll still be seeing this. If only to pretend that I could scream and giggle along with the (what I assume to be) 12 year old girls.

This past weekend we ventured to the Midwest to take in a little quality time with the old roomie.

And good timing too - I’d been having a Haverly hankering. Between the drinks, vegetarian food and flash frozen ice cream it was a good time. I tried not to dwell on the fact that we didnt have pizza (shameful) and only posed outaide the field museum since they were sold out.

We’ll have to be back soon.

While we were in Chicago last weekend, Thom posed for his future album cover. I’d buy it.

Right after we fix the front door [let’s just say we’re not a fan of the humid weather in NY at the moment] we’re going to be setting up our home office upstairs. Finally.

Thom’s been waiting for this ever since we moved in to the house but we’ve put it off since the top floor has yet to be renovated. And it won’t be for quite some time. In the meantime we’re still going to fix it up as Armstrong headquarters.

Although it remains to be seen if I can convince Thom to let me get these chairs for the office. [They come in other colors…]

I’ve fallen into a bit of a black hole lately.

Distracted by mindless amusements. Consumed by work, friends and trying to squeeze out a bit of sunshine from this season it hasn’t left much time for introspection. Not that I’m all that philosophical around these parts.

And I realize that I have about 7 people that visit the blog regularly. But get ready for some updates, you guys. It’s time I got back on the wagon.
