a little bit of fungus goes a loooong way

I almost forgot how much I like cooking while we were away from the house. With all sorts of good things in season it’s been so easy to find delicious things to cook. Like these King Trumpet mushrooms we picked up last weekend at the greenmarket.

Prepared with a little caramelized onion, some rice and a touch of truffle oil.
