I recently adopted Moe on behalf of Susan & Mark in honor of their upcoming wedding anniversary. I thought he would be a good addition to the family. Now Jasper’s thinking this might be the perfect sibling for him too. The kind that he can alternately sit on, cuddle with or hump depending on what mood strikes.

So does a lack of AC. Joy.

Only usually not around the windshield of the car. As usual, Frank risks life and limb for an awesome Jax shot.

It took a whole lot of convincing but I finally caught Jasper on his new bed. Or what I’m pretty sure he thinks of as “that thing on floor” because his real bed is with us. But once we are back in the house I think he’ll like having a place to sleep when we’re hanging out in the kitchen or den.

I think they’d get along well together.

So far this year has been much of the same - work, work work and barely time to breath. But we were able to get a nice break New Year’s week and we rented a house in Rhinebeck - just 90 minutes out of the city.

Some of us were a little stir-crazy after working so much.

But we felt right at home there.

Rhinebeck and the surrounding towns were quiet and adorable - if a little more depressed than we had expected.

And then we were snowed in so we almost never left. Pity that didn’t last.

i was a little bored last night waiting for jesse to come home from another late night of work. while watching tv i noticed jasper sitting on the couch waiting for his mom to come home. i decided to use our Nikon D50 for one last time and got a pretty cool shot of jasper. watch out whitney and jesse…:)
